15 weeks today!!!! Woo Hoo & 3 days until the wedding :)

Alright- I am making my post in the midst of all the wedding stuff, beach going and family visiting! We will be married when I make my next post :) Mike will no longer be just my baby daddy! He will be my husband :) ha ha! Love it!

14 weeks - ALREADY!!!!!

Hello Second Trimester!!! Well, here we are, baby and mommy - both of us are growing together. We continue to jog with KJ, the eldest sibling :) We have been working pretty hard every day with the wedding planning, going to work and oh yea... growing a baby!!!! Here's our picture from yesterday, I was going to upload it last night but I fell asleep at 4:30 pm when I got home from work and didn't wake up until 6:30 pm. So, then baby and I had to take KJ for a jog, eat and well, go back to sleep. Here's why....

Well, it all started on Tuesday when Tom Lewis showed up to work sick!!! This is the second time he has done this and guess what, this is the second time I've been sick since I've been preggers... what a coincidence!! So, I'm at home with a fever. FREAKING GREAT! With a wedding around the corner and my growing baby in my tummy, this getting sick thing could have been avoided. But, oh well, now I get a day off from work to rest and take care of both of us. Not to mention, I've been swamped at work, so maybe I needed a break.... ok.. here's the picture!

OK, we have jumped another 2 days forward...

Here I am... I mean here we are!! Mommy and baby!!!

Well, we went to the doctor today and I'm weighing in at a whopping 136!!!! They told me that on my first appointment I weighed 124, so that made the whole weight gain thing a little easier to swallow! I also found out that I am 13 weeks today.... that's 2 days farther along than we were told at the last appointment. IF we keep this vanishing day act up, we will have a baby by Halloween!!! ha ha, nah just kidding.

THE BABY! We heard his heartbeat and it's in the 150's. The RN informed us that this is great! She said we want it somewhere between 120-160. So 150 was a great number!!!!:)

We go back to the doctor for our regular OB check up June 11th and then we go to find out the sex of the baby on June 30th!!!!

Wedding time is upon us...we are 17 days out :)

First Trimester Screen 5-12-08

Today was so cool! We saw the baby, we heard his heartbeat and he put on a show for us! Check out the pictures of Baby-D!!!!

Your baby-to-be is now 60 to 65 millimeters long (about two and a half inches), and weighs around 14 grams. He or she has the ability to swallow, absorb and discharge fluids. And speaking of fluids, the amniotic sac contains about 50 cubic centimeters of them (one and one half ounces).

Baby-D is measuring great all the way around:) He had an N/T measurement of 1.05 ( It has to be less than 3 and this was to check for Down Syndrome). He is also measuring 12 weeks 5 days, which is 2 days farther along than our projected date the Doctor gave us. So, who knows what all that means. I guess he will be born when he feels good and ready!

Ok, I'll upload another belly picture on Wed. with that doctor update, I have another appointment then. My WORD at all the doctor appointments!!!!

Oh yea, the wedding is almost here! THANK GOD! We have 19 days to go!!!!!

11 weeks and 5 days

Well-

Here I am, steadily gaining weight and counting down the days until our wedding. My main pregnancy symptoms have been FATIGUE and headaches :(

I will write more after Monday, we will go for the first trimester screen at that time.
