First week back at work....

Well, Sophia, KJ and I all made it through Mommy's first week back at work. We are very fortunate to have such wonderful friends that are our neighbors!!!! They have taken on the responsibility of babysitting while Mommy is at work and Daddy is away. They are angels and love Sophia like she was thier own child. That made going back to work a little bit easier for me. I still wish I could be home with her but the bills have to be paid!!!

Sophia will be 8 weeks old on Tuesday and she is already sporting 3 month outfits comfortably!! ha ha!! She is such a sweet baby and loves to be cuddled and held. She is patient with mommy - most of the time and she loves KJ!!

Sh is pretty sleepy iin some of these but they are still cute!

Some info about chunky monkey....her favorite thing in the whole wide world is FOOD!!!!!! She is to funny...she would rather eat than anything else....she can hold her head up pretty good now :) She also loves the ceiling fan and she still loves the Christmas tree....so we have opted to leave it up til Mike gets back...she is a morning person for sure!!!! She is the most alert then.....She loves to look around at everything!!!!

She makes the sweetest, funniest,cutest faces in the world!!!!

On the sleep front, she went to sleep at 7:30 last night and slept til 3 am....she was starving when she woke up! But we usually go 5 hours before its time to eat again.....

She likes calm music like sarah McLachlan.....she doesn't like hip hop to much...haha!

I had some pictures on the camera that I needed to upload. I took them this week and the ones of her in the I heart my auntie are from today ;-) That's a 3 month outfit.... but not surprising - she fits into it pretty good. I'm worried about her diapers getting to small but they are suppose to fit a 15 pound baby! She isn't quite that yet but the diapers sure are making some red marks on her chubby little legs! Uh oh I hear her crying... gotta run!

3rd Dr. Visit and 5 weeks old today!!

HOLY COW! Where has the time gone! My baby is growing up! ha ha!! Sophia had a doctor visit today and oh boy has she grown!!! She weighs 12.2 1/2 pounds and is 23 1/2 inches tall ;-) Her vitals were great and she is doing wonderfully in the growth area! We will probably start her on some rice cereal around 3 or 4 months. Here's a couple pictures I took of her before the doctor visit. ENJOY!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Happy 2009!!!!

We had a pretty low key new year's bash.... actually it wasn't a bash at all... Mike fell asleep on the couch watching football. Sophia, KJ and I all went to bed at 8:00pm. Mike and I woke up at midnight for a kiss and then we were all asleep again! LOL!!

I'm sorry if I don't post much of a narrative these days... I'm doing good to get pictures uploaded! I just don't feel like spending time on the computer... I am almost out of maternity leave and I want to get as much time in with Sophia as possible!
